History
The APS Archive of Teaching Resources was established as an initiative of the Education Committee and APS Council.

The first iteration of the Archive project was  spearheaded by then Education Committee Chair Barbara Goodman and Committee member John Dietz. This newer version was made possible through the efforts of the new Education Committee Chair, Rob Carroll. Without their combined vision and hard work, the APS Archive of Teaching Resources would never have become a reality.

Support
The current searchable database was developed as part of the BEN project, supported by a National Science Foundation National Science Digital Library grant (DUE-00085840, DUE 0226185, and DUE-0532797).
